Ohayocon has set a high bar for the rest of my shows this year! I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many people over one weekend. x_x
Hello to the new people just checking out my comic! Enjoy the archives. :D
I’m gonna go ice my arm now.
You can check out the full list of conventions I’ll be attending here!
Winter has arrived in Ohio.
Oh wait, it’s raining again.
Oh hang now, now it’s sn–!! …nope, rain.
Oh hai, Sun.
I’m going to Ohayocon this weekend! I hope to see a lot of awesome people in the artist alley. Let me know in the comments if you’re going! ^_^
I got the idea for this comic after sharing my list of Shit to Measure Before Buying, so consider this a chaser to Monday’s comic. ^_^
Thank you to the folks who have kindly donated to my New Computer Fund so far. I’m currently creeping along and this week we’re at 8% of my goal! Wednesday was my actual anniversary, though between my full work week and the SOPA/PIPA protests, it passed by without much fanfare.
Do you like my Cornometer? It’s very scientific.
Have a good weekend!
Curse you, HGTV, and your bad-example-setting!
I’d like to share with you all my list of Shit to Measure Before You Buy It:
- Drapery
- Blinds
- Area rugs
- Shower curtains
- Bike tires
- Inflatable ANYTHING (pools, pool toys, air mattresses, whatevs)
- Memory foam mattress pads
All of the above are things I have to repackage with quite some frequency, and it’s a huge bitch to do so. I beseech you, on behalf of retail redshirts everywhere:
Measure twice, buy once.
Ah, who could forget that classic song Lock the Cashbox, from the album Combat Lock, by The Cash.
Computer fund update: Currently at about 4%!
Y’all remember my sister Kelly from her previous appearances.\
It seemed like dunking my thumb into the cold liquid would relieve the burn much better than pressing my thumb on the outside of the bottle… so that’s what happened….

@MumaKirby on twitter told me I should dunk my other one in something green so I could be Christmas Thumbs. I’ll keep that in mind for next year.
Where are all the people getting self-righteous at retailers about how much plastic, cardboard, and styrofoam gets wasted in shipping? My workplace does the best they can, but I guarantee there’s a lot that doesn’t make it to the recycling containers. :(
This month is my webcomicking anniversary! I’m holding a fundraiser for a new computer. If you want to help, check it out here!
I really wish I could share with you the look of childlike glee that took over Chris’s face when I pulled out the tube of Justin Bieber: the Wrapping Paper.
SPOILER FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS: your gifts are coming swaddled in the tender, comforting embrace of J-Beebs, y’all.
This comic’s title references the far superior song by The Waitresses:
