This weekend, Chris and I will be at Penguicon in Dearborn, MI!  We’ve got a table in the dealer’s room, so please come by and say hello.

The famous Big Ear of Corn will, of course, be available for you to hug if you so desire.  I also have lovely 11×17″ prints of my Malt Shop Ponies piece for the first time ever!

And yes, that is a Garanos pony that Susan made me. :D

Update Deux!

I’ve got a new comic ready to color!  It’s about my new computer!

Unfortunately since I can’t get my scanner to communicate with my new computer, I’m at a bit of an impasse.

I’m not quite sure when I’m going to find the time to get it up, but I’ll be at Animarathon this weekend in Bowling Green.  Hopefully I can spare a few minutes tomorrow night before I leave to scan the comic with my laptop and color it on the road, but either way, I hope to have it up Monday at the latest.

Update!

Hey folks!  Sorry about the radio silence from me the last couple weeks.  I had some traveling to do, as well as attending to some personal matters, and I came to a decision about the future of Alex’s Guide.

The comic will not be going away!  It will just be changing to a sporadic update schedule for the time being.  AG’s traffic has always been more driven by spurts and bursts in activity when a certain comic captures peoples’ fancy, so I figure that I’d be better off making comics when I have a particularly good idea rather trying to force myself to a schedule with less-than-hilarious results.

And as I’ve hinted at in various corners of the internets, I’m starting work on a new long form project that I’m going to start releasing this summer, so having the extra free time to work on that will be very helpful.

Monday’s comic is coming!

I’ve been away from home all weekend, and on top of that, I caught a cold!  But I did get today’s comic penciled, so I’ll be inking and coloring it when I get back home later today.  Stay tuned!
