Gee. When I bought blackout drapes that went onto the floor (and thus over the heaters) I just pinned them up so they could still be used. And when a shade was a tad too small for a window, I went and hammered in a small piece of wood to attach the shade to.
Some people are entirely too lazy and inept for their own good.
