I hear ya, Alex. I worked at UPS for a while, sorting boxes. I did it bare handed at first, but after about two weeks, I realized I didn’t have any finger prints. That’s when I got gloves.

  yeah, I am still doing UPS with no gloves after 2 months, but I can’t grip boxes very well anymore… my natural grip is pretty worn off.

At my old job if you didn’t wear gloves you would have a fairly high probability of death by lead and/or mercury poisoning.
